Wanted to share with you guys something very exciting in my life :D

[DISCLAIMER]: This post is VERY VERY LONG and full of philosophical stance in my life. Should it bore you, press ALT+F4 and continue playing Fiesta.

I just wanted to share with you some interesting things that have happened to me within the past 10 days. And no, I'm not trying to brag, I just felt like sharing a lil love and thought that there is something to learn from all this. But before I begin, I would like to say that patience and perseverance do pay off! (Yea, I know some of you are gonna go "yea right malau, dream on... *rolls eyes*) I know it may seems far-fetched but being patient, flexible, and a nice guy in life while being yourself pays off...

And here's my ode for you guys:

Some of you might know that I am currently doing just finish my final semester in my Bachelors Degree. As part of this final semester, we had a major project working with a Not-for-profit organisation within Perth, Australia and devise a communication strategy for them based on their needs/ aims. Anyways, at the end of the semester (last week) we had to present our strategy to our clients along with other organisations and lecturers, tutors, and other staffs in a conference. Well, it turns out that my group was the best group during the whole conference. We impressed our clients so much that they were speechless and in awe during our Q&A session (other groups usually got their clients asking them a whole bunch of stuff usually when they are not clear or doing something odd). My group also impressed our lecturer, tutor, and basically everyone in the conference. And at the end of the day and during the breaks, everyone kept commenting on your presentation and they ACTUALLY remembered our presentation the most out of all the other presentations during the day. Basically, WE NAILED THAT PROJECT! :D Now, the lesson from this experience is that hard work, patience, perseverance, determination, and a fighting spirit will give you the right key to a successful future.

To top this off, later on during the day, I received an email from a senior lecturer in my University. *click open* OMG!!!! An invitation to do an Honours program in Culture, Communication, and Media field!! *jumps of happiness* So yes, I got invited to do an Honours. Ironically, about a year ago, or even several months ago, I had no idea what I was going to do after I graduate or even have a clue on what to work as after I graduate. But I told myself that you know what, take it easy, adapt yourself to what time has to unfold for you and be true to yourself. And now, I was given the opportunity to further my studies with the Honours program. Now, the lesson here is that you should be flexible and be able to adapt in your life. Try not to be so rigid and always keep an eye out on everything that happens in your life because you never know how that small thing can change your life, for the better.

And tonight, I just got the icing on top of a cake covered with chocolate and whip cream but this time it was an email from a friend of mine. *clicks open* OMG! my friend just offered me a job as a Communication Executive working under the Head of Communication of Media Prima (a conglomerate of private media in Malaysia consisting of several TV stations, radio stations, and newspapers). Apparently my friend never mentioned to me that her sister was the Head of the Communications in Media Prima and now she is looking for an Executive to work under her as my friend said her sister complained about the lack of professionalism from the assistant that she currently have. So now, she is looking for a fresh media graduate to fill up an Executive role. And my friend suggested my name and his sister was very interested to see my resume. So now, all I have to do is submit a resume and hopefully she will be uber impressed by it. Oh, and my friend said that his sis will be conducting interviews starting Friday in case she was not satisfied with my resume (which I doubt she will, cuz I think my resume looks pretty nifty) and as a formality within the company. But he told me that I am getting priority over all the other candidates and gets first dibs on the job! *SCREAMS OUT OF HAPPINESS......... nose bleed.............. brain explode.................... dies* So now, even though I have not officially graduated yet (my results are only coming out middle of next month) I have been lucky and blessed enough to be given this opportunity! The lesson here is that you should always do what you are passionate about in life and never let anyone tell you that your passion and profession can never be mixed together. THAT'S A BIG LIE!!!

Anyways, for those of you who have read this post to the end, I salute you guys. I just thought that I should share with you guys some of the excitement in my life and perhaps shed some insights into your own life. As Dakkon once said, "the battle is not won by the strongest, but it is won by the ones that keep on fighting"

I just got back from my honours briefing like less than an hour ago, and OMG! I think I'm gonna be stuck...... I realised that I DO have a research topic for an Honours thesis, and that topic is on GAMING in particular ONLINE GAMING!! and best part is, I met a senior lecturer that specialises and is passionate about gaming and OMG we were talking about the possibilities of gaming after the discussion and it got me really excited~!!!! Weeeeee~!!!! What better way to do a thesis then on a topic that I really love and enjoy. GAMING FTW~!!!!!!!!!! And I would like to get you guys involve with my research thesis should my application be approved and I decide to pursue the Honours.

O.o really? I guesss you could say it's a bit like the amount of homework i've done, for the top class you'd think i'd been at the school for like a week >.< (incase any of my teachers(yea right)read this, i'm alright with the amount you give us, I mean maths is alright but I seriously can't get 15 mins done everynight I have my natball umpiering cause and softball training AND my social studies assignment! Hmmm most activity i've had all mah life.....I need to do more with my life....)) nuuuuu that was big mess, I would clean it up but like I have maths to do, I might catch you guys this weekend if dad lets me borrow his suppa awesome "working" laptop again *cooks pancakes* bribes work wonders....

Ok, its time i sit down and write my almost 2 months at work...

- i've met with the palestinian and eyptian ambassador in malaysia cuz our company sent a crew over to gaza to provide coverage and give humanitarian aid.. so i was discussion some letters and permission with both embassy.
- also met with several clients for partnership for some events.
- also got involved with Earth Hour.
(i even directed and produce 3 tv commercials which will be coming out on tv end of next week so im very happy and proud of that) XD
- other than that, i've been working on a lot of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) program for the company. And its something i like to do so its cool....
- i was also floor manager for our Quarter 4 financial results announcement XD
- also help organise photo shoot session for our news team along with all the bosses and board of directors XD

ummm, i did a lot more things but cant remember what @@

Wait wait wait wait wait, thats 2 months? No really you have to be kidding me, thats like......
I guess we could put it that sometimes i've had to help my dad with more than that. But thats a "good" two months for him yours may never calm down, oh oh oh I can't remember what it's called but my dad did the lighing in a tower I think in (wait my spelling will be wrong here >.<) Bang Cok (waaaaa I am terrible, the big tower with round thing on top, we saw it on the news and my dad said, oh look Alys, I did the lighting in that.) But yea he works with some of NZ's biggest events, he makes me feel so proud.

But I do hope your job slows down for you, I know for a fact a big work load is hard, my teachers don't seem to understand why I can't get the simple work they gave me done, hmm maybe it's coz I have 5 others to do in the 2 hours I get after sports. High School suckz!!!!! *walks away from keyboard*
