The pig nags me, I think it's not a main character, and the boy, I know I've seen him somewhere, but can't remember...

THe pig... I think he is an evil sidekick in a show that has a mini-panda in the main lead and that is about saving the environment from poachers. I think.

That sounds about right to me... :D

Minoes is pretty close. He is an evil sidekick (there are 3 of them), and the message is sometimes about saving the environment. One particular episode had me feeling really sad at the end, as an area containing beautiful foliage and sporting an aura of serenity had been completely despoiled, turned into a stinking dumping ground.

Anyway, the main character is not a mini-panda.
